A linhagem dos delfinóides se originou no conglomerado de estrelas que forma as Constelações de Delphinus e Cettus (Golfinho e Baleia, respectivamente). Nesses setores estelares, o DNA dos golfinhos e das baleias foi gerado e distribuído para múltiplos lugares do cosmos, incluindo Sirius B.
